Radiant Energy welding

Radiant energy welding process

The heat energy is produced from concentrated energised beam in this welding process. A focused energised beam is strike on joint of work piece and only that time heat is produced.

The radiant energy was developed many years ago but radiant energy welding is new. Basically it was developed during world war II. Because that time was required welding purity of reactive and refractory metals. Radiant welding classified as

I) Laser beam welding.

II) Electron beam welding.
